Captain Leon Gelman Turns 80

A quick tribute to my father who turned 80 recently:
FLASH: far East Air force, July 18, 1951:
3rd BOMBARDMENT WING, JAPAN---2ND Lt. Leon Gelman is congratulated by 3rd Bomb Wing commander Col. Virgil L. Zoller upon receiving the United States Air Medal. Lt. Gelman was decorated for meritorious service while flying night missions over Korea in Fifth Air Force B-26 bombers.

Captain Leon Gelman began his military career as a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne under the command of "Slim" Jim Gavin. He later joined the Air Force. He is a Disabled American Veteran. A big congrats on reaching 80! I know there were days that you couldn't imagine reaching 80.
