You never really know what's going to come out of Shep Smith's mouth. The man is so inconsistent that it's hard to take him seriously. Now Shep passionately defends the media from observations of the obvious, namely that they were so far in the tank for Obama that even Pravda blushed. Some media are even doing mia culpa's like the Washington Post, But Shep is just too... ahhh... how should I put this... lacking in basic critical thinking skills to recognize reality:
The irony here is that Shep works at the only network that played it straight during this entire election. Maybe he's bucking for a position over at MSNBC?

Shep's histrionics during hurricane Katrina caused me to lose all respect for him as a journalist. I can't even look at him any more without feelings of disgust.
ReplyDeleteHe and MSNBC would probably be a perfect fit as emotion, rather than logic and rationality, seems to be norm there.
