Google co-founder Sergey Brin: My family left Russia because of anti-Semitism

This is just an amazing story. Even Sergey Brin was mostly unaware of his parents struggles during his childhood. In the end, we have all benefited from this family's drama. Sergey is the President of Technology at Google and has a net worth estimated at $18.5 billion as of March 9, 2007, making him the 26th richest person in the world and the 5th richest person in the United States, together with Larry Page. He is also the fourth-youngest billionaire in the world. A remarkable achievement by any standard.

  1. At some point in the 70s the Soviet authorities began charging the Jews that was leaving the USSR the cost of their university or college diploma. It lasted for years until the issue became known world wide and became an international embarrassment for the Soviet Union. This regulation was cancelled at the beginning of the 80s
