Olmert to Israel: Get used to rocket fire

This is what passes for leadership in Israel today:

"Grad rocket attacks were not a one-time thing; this has been Israel's reality for the past 60 years, we have no way of preventing these attacks from recurring...Don't conduct yourselves as though the rocket attacks are a one-time thing"
These were Olmert's words of "encouragement" during his recent visit to the rocket-pounded city of Ashkelon. Olmert stopped just short of proclaiming "let them eat cake."

Not exactly "Victory in spite of all the terror, victory no matter how long and hard the road may be, for without victory there is no survival..." Imagine Churchill saying: "Get used to it, we have no solution."

Side-note: moments after Olmert left the city, another rocket from Gaza landed as the entire city was forced again to take cover.
