Palestinians obsessed with Sex Scandal

This stunning article comes after Arafat died of an apparent AIDS infection and his close aide is now suffering from the same symptoms; hmmmm.

Theater of the absurd at US Airports

The inmates are running the asylum. Proff positive that political correctness leads to a mental disorder. This photo is from Dean Shaddock who observed a young Muslim woman waring a hijab, body searching an old Nun as a possible terrorist threat. I was in El Paso over the past few days, and at the airport there, I observed a VERY old lady being taken to secondary because her drivers licence that she used for ID had expired

Ahmadinejad: Homosexuality? "We don't have that Phenomenon in Iran."

So I watched the Ahmadinejad speech at Columbia. But before the speech, Columbia President Lee Bollinger suddenly felt compelled to offset his awful decision to invite Ahmadinejad to Columbia in the first place, by attacking him with a laundry list of ugly but accurate portrayals of the Iranian President. Unfortunately, it was too little too late. Bollinger's remarks came across as pandering to critics and making Ahmadinejad seem the victim of an ungracious and self-serving host.

The Iranian President took full advantage of the opportunity, coming across as a soft-spoken man of peace ambushed by a hostile host who had invited him in the first place. Yet, unfortunately for him, all the slick rhetoric and well calculated pandering to a naive and in some cases stupid Western audience, could not hide a number of embarrasing...ah...shell we say 'politically incorrect views.' He could not give an answer to the simple question: "do you seek the destruction of Israel?" Or "do you recognize that the Holocaust even occurred?" My personal favourite, and I suspect every ones favorite was in regard to his policies towards Homosexuals. His Answer? We don't have Homosexuals in Iran like you do here." Well, he certainly has fewer Homosexuals in Iran since he's been killing them, but the answer must have been an eye-opener for those "open-minded" starry-eyed students and their lefty professors who view the US armed forces a greater threat to world security than a nuclear armed Iran (Columbia does not allow the ROTC in its campus but murdering dictators are A-OK). What shocked me the most was the enthusiastic applause that Ahmadinejad received from the audience. Nobody rushed the stage or disrupted the event as occurred during the Minutemen visit to Columbia recently (read 'legal immigration advocates more dangerous than madman with nuclear weapons'). To me, this was also a graphic display of how liberalism tolerates the worst forms of evil; and I am reminded of Edmund Burke's saying: 'The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.' In this case, "good people" not only did nothing, but actively assisted the cause of evil.

Columbia University: We Would Invite Hitler to Speak at Columbia

Enough said: the man who instigated World War II and was largely responsible for over 60,000,000 dead, including the systematic murder of millions of men, women and children in concentrations camps, would be invited to speak at Columbia University; but the ROTC and the US military are not welcome. The depth of the moral sickness is endless. What else is there to say, really.

Iran: Supporters of Israel to Recieve "Final Response" By October 12th; OJ and Britney more Important

In a rambling message from Iran's official news agency, the government spokesman stated that "Supporters of the Zionist regime will definitely receive the final response for their support on that day [Oct. 12th]." Some my construed that as a threat.

Meanwhile, Iranian President Ahmadinejad has requested that the US arrange for him to visit ground zero in New York during his visit to the United Nations General Assembly on or around September 24th. The US taxpayer is expected to pick up the bill for his security: It should be noted that the US State Department classifies Iran as "the world's most active state sponsor of terrorism," and Iran is on the official US list of state sponsors of terrorism.

More news: The deputy commander of Iran's air force said today that plans have been drawn up to bomb Israel in case Iran's nuclear program is attacked. "The whole territory of this regime [Israel] is within the range of our missiles. Moreover, we can attack their territory with our fighter bombers as a response to any attack."

Further information on the recent Israeli air-strike over Syria continues to leak out to main-stream media. US officials tell CBS News the strike destroyed a building Israeli intelligence believed housed nuclear equipment from North Korea. Israel, meanwhile declared today that it now views Gaza as an "enemy entity" as a result of continued rocket bombardment from Gaza on Israeli towns. The legal implication of such a declaration is that Israel will be entitled to cut off water and electric power that it supplies to Gaze should the rocket attacks continue. The Secretary of the UN declared that cutting off Israeli services to Gaza would "violate international law". No word yet on if the continued rocket attacks of Israeli civilian populations from Gaza violates "international law."

What we do know violates international law, is when Syria methodically assassinates the democratically elected representatives of Lebanon, as they did again today. At least seven people, including anti-Syrian members of Parliament were killed Wednesday when a car bomb exploded in a Christian suburb of the capital Beirut. Another 20 people were wounded.

Britain's Jane Defense Weekly, a highly credible source on all matters of military intelligence, reports Syrian defense sources as saying an explosion recently took place during a test to fit a Scud C missile with a mustard-gas warhead in northern Syria. It quoted the sources as saying the explosion occurred when fuel caught fire in the missile production laboratory. The blast dispersed chemical agents (including VX, Sarin nerve agents and mustard blister agent) across the storage facility and outside, the publication quoted the sources as saying. The magazine said that, in addition to the 15 Syrian troops, dozens of Iranian weapons engineers were killed. That's the good news.

Meanwhile, in the US, the media are converging on the really important stories: OJ Simpson, Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. Both CNN and MSNBC have OJ as their lead story, with all of this going on. YUCK!

Cops out of control at the University of Florida, Student Andrew Meyer Tasered

The Moonbat Student seems to be asking for it and should have handled himself with less hysteria. But it seems to me the cops handled the situation even worse than the Moonbat, and they're supposed to be the grown-ups. Of course, I don't know exactly what transpired before the incident, but it should be something pretty serious to justify this type of take-down.

General John Abizaid: 'We can live with a nuclear-armed Iran'

General Abizaid, the man who left a massive mess behind in Iraq, a mess that General David Petraeus is working hard to clean up, has a new deep thought: "we can live with a Nuclear Iran." Does that mean we can 'literally' live? Or does it mean that it would be acceptable to live in the shadow of a Nuclear Armed Iran? Abizaid thinks even deeper: "I mean, they may have some people in charge that don't appear to be rational, but I doubt that the Iranians intend to attack us with a nuclear weapon." Wow! I know I'm going to be sleeping better at night.

Telegraph: America Prepares for war with Iran

Interesting article today in the Telegraph. It seems that the UK press is all over this issue, as they are on the recent Israeli air strike in Syria. The US press is lagging far behind. Unless the US press picks up some momentum on the subject, when the #@&! hits the fan, the US public is going to be shocked and unprepared. Of course, I support the elimination of Iran's aggresive nuclear program and I believe that most of the public would be on board if they understood the stakes. As of now, the vast majority seem more concerned with OJ Simpson and Brinty Spears.

French FM: World must prepare for war with Iran

The world must "must prepare for the worst" - including the possibility of war - in light of the Iranian nuclear crisis, French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner said Sunday. "We have to prepare for the worst, and the worst, sir, is war," Kouchner said in an interview on LCI television and RTL radio. Barney Frank and Nancy Pelosi haven't gotten the memo yet.

Times of London: Israelis blew up Syrian nuclear cache

"How dare those Jews blow up our nuclear facility?!!!"The Times of London delivers today a detailed, play by play report of the recent Israeli air raid deep inside Syrian territory, about 50 miles from the Iraqi border. The Times is a credible source, although none of this is confirmed officially by Israel, Syria or the US. I find this report highly credible, and certainly more credible than the initial reports about Israeli planes bombing the "empty desert" or bombing Iranian weapons shipment to Hezbollah. Highlights:

IT was just after midnight when the 69th Squadron of Israeli F15Is crossed the Syrian coast-line. On the ground, Syria’s formidable air defences went dead. An audacious raid on a Syrian target 50 miles from the Iraqi border was under way. At a rendezvous point on the ground, a Shaldag air force commando team was waiting to direct their laser beams at the target for the approaching jets. The team had arrived a day earlier, taking up position near a large underground depot. Soon the bunkers were in flames.

their mission was the focus of intense speculation...The Israeli government was not saying....The Syrians were also keeping mum. “I cannot reveal the details,” said Farouk al-Sharaa, the vice-president. “All I can say is the military and political echelon is looking into a series of responses as we speak.

Once the mission was under way, Israel imposed draconian military censorship and no news of the operation emerged until Syria complained that Israeli aircraft had violated its airspace. Syria claimed its air defences had engaged the planes, forcing them to drop fuel tanks to lighten their loads as they fled. But intelligence sources suggested it was a highly successful Israeli raid on nuclear material supplied by North Korea. Read the entire fascinating article here.

Madonna: "I am an ambassador for Judaism."

I am not a big fan of Shimon Peres because of his past involvement in the Oslo disaster. But apparently he does have a fan in Madonna: "I can't believe that I'm celebrating the new year with you in Israel, it's a dream come true" she was quoted as saying. Madonna presented President Peres with a gift; a volume of 'The Book of Splendor,' the guiding text of Kabbalah and Jewish mysticism, inscribed with the words; "To Shimon Peres, the man I admire and love, Madonna." Peres presented Madonna with a lavishly bound copy of the Old Testament.

NYT: Israel Bombed Syrian Targets, Suspects North Korean Nuclear Facility in Syria

This blog has been silent on the Syria-Israel over-flight incident because I have no information on the details or accuracy of the reports and I don't want to parrot the Syrian version, which until now was pretty much the only version out there. But I will make a short comment on the New York Times article today: If the NYT article is accurate, then this should be the lead item on every main-stream news cast around the world; instead, there is a virtual world-wide blackout on the subject matter, I suspect for a number of reasons: There are no publicly available visuals of the suspected attack or its aftermath. There is no independent verification of the attack. Syria is certainly not interested in disclosing what was hit and simply maintain that the Israelis bombed the empty desert and "ran away" (not a credible scenario in my view). The Israelis for their part are mum, and a few folks in the Pentagon are leaking what they suspect and know. I suspect this is a huge story, especially the nuclear component, and by their silence on the details the Israelis are purposefully avoiding humiliating the Syrians, which would compel them to respond militarily just to save face.

Anti-Semitism and the Anti-Israel Lobby

The Wall Street Journal ran a killer piece today countering the wild "Israel Lobby" conspiracy movement headed by Jimmy Carter, Stephen Walt and John Mearsheimer. The article exposes the large Anti-Israel lobby funded by endless amounts of petro-dollars, mostly from Saudi Arabia, home of most of the 9/11 hijackers and radical Wahabi Islam. This arcitcal is a must read.

Good Riddance to Chuck Hagel

Hagel will now likely join the ranks of embittered former congressmen like Paul Findley, Charles Percy, Paul McCloskey, James Abourezk, etc.. who blame all of the worlds troubles (and their own) on the "Israel Lobby" (read Jews).

Girl, You Better Wear That Hijab

If NOW were a feminist organization they would be busy studying how Muslim women are coerced into wearing head coverings. They would study this video; then would contemplate how things are said when the camera isn't rolling, and this is in a "moderate" environment. But of course, NOW is not a feminist organization, it's a leftist organization, so all of this matters not.

LFG: Stunning Interviews with Two Traitors

LFG has two stunning interviews with Democrats in Damascus. The first is with Presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich, and the second is with former Democratic Senator James Abourezk of South Dakota. There are no words sufficient to describe the revulsion, seriously.

Zogby Poll: 42% of Democrats think Bush caused 9/11... or let it happen

It's official now, the party suspected of collective mental illness has been polled and found to be mentally insane. Good lord! I hope Zogby is way off. Or perhaps it's just me?

In a story related to Democrats and mental illness, a leading Democratic fundraiser Norman Hsu, a fugitive from justice (is there any other kind?), "freaked out" on a train and was arrested in Western Colorado.

Democrat goes berserk: "Anti-war" lefty kills civilian thinking he was soldier.

New Tape: Bin Laden Joins the Democratic Party

Osama Bin Laden joined the Democratic party in a new tape released today: "You permitted Bush to complete his first term, and stranger still, chose him for a second term... in regards to your invasion of Iraq, people have recently come to know that, after several years of tragedies of this war, the vast majority of you want it stopped. Thus, you elected the Democratic Party for this purpose..." He then goes on to disparage the "Neocons" and called Noam Chomsky "among one of the most capable of those from your own side." And then to cap it off he gives a positive nod to Al Gore by mentioning global warming and "the Kyoto accord." John Kerry, Howard Dean, Dennis Kucinich and all the rest of them will be proud of their new member.

Eco-warrior Al Gore lives the Highlife

While insisting the rest of us to give up our SUV's, Al Gore jet-sets around the world in private jets burning untold amounts of fossil fuels and releasing massive amounts of Co2 "greenhouse gases." Leftist logic? Larry Craig is a hypocrite, Al Gore is the bestest.

Kucinich Huddles with Assad of Syria

US Presidential candidate, Democrat Dennis Kucinich traveled to Syria yesterday to sing the praises of the dictator: "What most people are not aware of is that Syria has taken in more than 1.5 million Iraqi refugees," Kucinich said. "The Syrian government has actually shown a lot of compassion in keeping its doors open, and being a host for so many refugees." There was no mention of Syria's role in supporting insurgent attacks on US troops.

At the same time, Kucinich declined to visit Iraq: I don't want to bless the American occupation with my presence there" he said in an interview in Lebanon, after visiting Syria. "I will not do it."

Blaming the Jews - Hate in Islam (part 1)

The ignorance and stupidity is simply stunning! A belief system adopted by millions in the Muslim world; a must view:

And now for a dose of sanity from Dr. Wafa Sultan. I like to return to her from time to time just to remind myself that there are decent and good people who come from the Arab world, despite all of the bad news:
